This book is the first comprehensive review of airborne measurement principles, covering all atmospheric components and surface parameters.
The book, whose full title is Airborne Measurements for Environmental Research: Methods and Instruments will be published by Wiley in March, 2013. The book is one of the results produced by the consortium behind EUropean Facility for Airborne Research, of which cosine is a member. cosine's Marco Esposito is one of the authors of the second chapter, "Thermodynamic and Dynamic Parameters", dealing among others with aircraft state parameters, static air pressure and temperature, water vapor measurements, and flux measurements.
