In the production of food and pharmaceutics, quality and safety are of prime importance. With new measurement techniques the infrequent inspection of samples in the laboratory can be replaced by in-line monitoring of critical parameters. Several techniques are available to determine composition, for example to monitor the production process or detect contamination, as well as shape, for example to verify quality or to identify foreign objects. cosine builds measurement systems for specific applications in food and pharmaceutical inspection and monitoring using laser, spectroscopic and 3D imaging techniques. Our aim is to apply existing measurement techniques to guarantee the quality of 100% of the products that are produced.
